Being that I am currently trying to set our eldest child's entire plan for her education, I decided to see how this would work as it filtered down to the others as well. Who could I expect could teach whom, who could I concentrate on when, which subjects were 'pure' and not simply a facet of another repackaged.

The result of which was the realisation that I will be homeschooling for 21 years.

I guess by then I will be an 'expert', albeit only of my own children and our learning lifestyle.

This continual refining of resources will never really be over, but after this stint at least I will know that unless a super duper amazing alternative comes along, we will be using the best of what we know about after hundreds of hours of research! Even if you enjoy the research there comes a time when enough is enough. Now is that time for me!
